SAD SAD

RELEASED :: 2016

For the 5th year, Tiny Legs Tim came up with a special release for Record Store Day. Two new songs were released on a 10inch/45rpm single. This was a  limited edition of 150 numbered copies with silkscreen printed artwork only for Record Store Day 2016.

Sad Sad is driven by a sexy bass line and repetitive groove and is injected with some Mali Desert Blues and sixties psychedelica.

The B side, Religion Serves The Devil Well can be seen as an anti-gospel song. The guitar playing is influenced by the late Mississippi Fred McDowell and was played on an old Airline guitar. Drums and bass keep some distance and build up the energy to break out at the slide solos.
